ABOUT 3390
Camping
Each year, Pack 3390 has at least two campouts: one in the Fall, and one in the Spring, both typically at Camp Manatoc in Peninsula.  Our Spring campout is typically in early May, and our Fall campout is typically in mid October. Scouts and their accompanying parent typically have a choice of sleeping in the lodge, or in their own tent.

Unless otherwise noted, check-in at our campouts is 1 PM Saturday.  Check-out is anytime before noon on Sunday.  Generally, Pack 3390 encourages parents to bring foil meals for dinner on Saturday.  The Pack provides a snack for Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning.

More information, including a sign-up flyer will be distributed at Pack meetings and posted on the Web site closer to the camping date.  For safety, each scout must be accompanied, for the duration of the campout, by at least one one parent or guardian.

Some summers, we also have a third campout (combined with many other Packs) at Canal Park, hosted by the Akron Aeros.
Scouts camp...that's what we do!  When Cub Scouts are asked what they like best about scouting, the number one answer is consistently (you guessed it) camping!  We encourage each scout (and his Dad or guardian) to join us on every campout.  It's great to get out in the fresh air (and away from the TV) and spend time with nature!
