ABOUT 3390
Pinewood Derby
Each January, Pack 3390 holds its annual Pinewood Derby, one of the highlights of the Cub Scouting year.

Champions are named in four divisions, Tiger Cubs, Wolf  Scouts, Bear Scouts and Webelos.  Trophies are presented for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest cars in each division.

Pack 3390 uses a six-lane, 48 foot,
Best Track aluminum pinewood derby track.  It was used for the first time in January of 2003.  Since then, it has not only been used for Pack 3390's race, but also the Old Portage District Pinewood Derby, which is held each year.

Accuracy is important.  Pack 3390 uses a
Microwizard P3 timer, which features individual times from start to finish to the thousandth of a second. Winning time flashes in LCD digits.

Pack 3390's  Track at Summit Mall for the Old Portage District Pinewood Derby.
